After running out of coffee for two days, @black_coffee_worship answered my prayers with a delivery of their new Blackened Blend.

Today I also break ground on writing a new fantasy novel, which I'm very excited for.

A sneaky entry into my Spooky Season reading this year is Red Moon by @benjamin.percy

I felt like moving onto a werewolf read after watching The Wolf Man, and have been loving Percy's current comic run on Ghost Rider, so it's time to dive into this one. I'll also be accompanying this with his 'Thrill Me' collection of writing essays.

It’s International Coffee Day, and today’s bev

It’s International Coffee Day, and today’s beverage is @ravecoffee Peru Mishanango No. 153 ☕

As a South American coffee, this single origin comes from a small Peruvian co-operative called Agraria Norcafé, where coffee beans are handpicked and pulped on the same day.

Brewed in a V60, this coffee makes a clean and sweet brew with mild acidity, which is typical for the region. I think it’s a perfect coffee for early afternoons when you’re looking for something that isn’t too overpowering to sip while working or relaxing with a book.

I'm also currently working on coffee writing work, so any Cafés or Roasters looking for content, drop me a message.

Spooky Season is upon us, so it's time to break out the horror books.

I love all things creepy and this year I'll be diving into some classics I've never got round to with Interview With The Vampire, Salem's Lot, and Cabal.

I'll be getting to some audiobooks with Let The Right One In, and The Only Good Indians, and horror comics with Wytches and Gideon Falls.

And that's not to mention the movies.

The World of Coffee It's time to get back into co

The World of Coffee

It's time to get back into coffee.

Not that I ever stopped, but I'm working on expanding my coffee knowledge as I continue to specialise in coffee writing.

As such, I'm starting with this set of coffees from @ravecoffee which includes beans from Peru, Rwanda, India, and Papua New Guinea. This covers the main coffee-growing regions known as the Coffee Belt, which includes South America, Africa, India, and Asia, for a nice overview of flavour profiles. I'll be trying them all in various brewing styles over the coming weeks, and plan on discussing them as I go.
